Childcare Professionals and experts in our field, we provide outstanding care for your children from 3 months up to the end of Key Stage 1 (Reception, Years 1 & 2). Boomerang Kids offers Nursery, Pre-School, Breakfast & After School Club solutions. Located in a spectacularly converted barn in the heart of Saltdean, Brighton, East Sussex.

Pre-school

Pre-school is for children aged 2-4 years. At Boomerang Kids we offer family style grouping across 4 pre-school groups: Hedgehogs, Squirrels, Foxes & Owls.

We offer session start times of 7:30am, 8:00am and 1:00pm

and session finish times of 1:00pm 3:30pm and 6:00pm

Each child is supported in their development by regular Key Persons so children will always see a familiar face and parents will have a regular point of contact to discuss any day to day concerns.

We offer two visit sessions for this age group prior to their start. The first is an introductory video call to introduce ourselves to the family and talk through the induction process. The second is an in person visit so the child can meet the staff and some of the children in their group before they start.

Going to nursery is a big step for both child and parent. We recognize that each child responds to this change in different ways and will support our families through this process.

We promote a natural and stimulating environment both inside and outside, allowing the children the time to explore the world around them at their own pace. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and your child’s Key Persons will plan individual activities, following your child’s interest and using the EYFS curriculum guidelines. Our aim is to achieve a balance between free, creative and structured activities designed to encourage language, confidence and independence and most importantly for the children to have FUN!
